Mike Slavin is the owner of Slavin and Partners Real Estate and a licensed Realtor with over 11 years of experience. Mike grew up in the Johnston area and attended Grand View University, where he earned a degree in Business Management with a minor in Real Estate. He also played on the college golf team and was named an All-American.
He now lives in West Des Moines with his wife, Allie, daughter, Lola, and two dogs, Ace and Henrik. Outside of real estate, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, playing pickleball, and being outdoors.

Growing up in small-town Iowa, Nathan was introduced early on to teamwork, hospitality, and strong family values. He watched his father, a dentist, build his own practice through hard work and dedication—principles that made a lasting impression on Nathan.
While attending the University of Iowa, Nathan earned his BA in Finance and played football for the Hawkeyes—a pivotal experience that reinforced the value of discipline and commitment.
Early on, Nathan discovered a passion for real estate. A self-described “numbers guy,” he enjoyed the challenge of finding the best deal or calculating a better price. When combined with his love of homes and helping others, a career in real estate became a natural fit. Nathan began his career shortly after graduating and moving to the Des Moines metro, and he’s now going on year 10! His finance background allows him to specialize in investment properties and new construction. He is New Construction Certified and proudly partners with Cedarbrook Builders.
When he’s not helping clients, you’ll find Nathan on one of the many Des Moines metro golf courses, cheering on the Hawkeyes, or spending time with friends and family. He lives in West Des Moines with his wife, Anastasia, and their daughters, Amelia and Sophia.

Megan has been licensed since 2020, but her main focus is keeping the Slavin & Partners team running smoothly. As the team’s assistant, she handles everything from listing paperwork to marketing videos—and even keeps the office stocked with a killer snack drawer!
Originally from Iowa, Megan graduated from Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!) and spent time living in Dallas, Texas, and Cleveland, Ohio, before moving back home to Des Moines.
Outside of work, she loves to travel with her husband, Jason, and their 2-year-old son, Tommie. Some of her favorite trips have been to Ireland, New York, Mexico City, and Austin. She also enjoys cooking, trying out new restaurants around Des Moines, and spending time with family.
